DPF Cleaning for Land Rover Discovery Sport in Colliers Wood
Initial pressure testing recorded a DPF reading of 51 mbar. This indicated increased restriction within the filter and provided a clear baseline before the cleaning process began. After treatment, we checked the pressure again to confirm the change.
Service:
DPF Cleaning
Date:
15-Sep-2026
Make:
LAND ROVER
Model:
Discovery Sport
Area:
Colliers Wood
Challenge:
The main challenge was the restricted DPF, with an initial back-pressure reading of 51 mbar. Excess soot and contamination within the filter can restrict exhaust flow and place additional strain on the vehicle’s emissions system.
Solution:
GMM1 carried out a professional DPF cleaning procedure on site, focusing on clearing accumulated deposits and restoring better flow through the filter. Following the service, the pressure reading fell from 51 mbar to 24 mbar — a reduction of 27 mbar. The improved reading demonstrated a substantial decrease in DPF restriction.
