Jeep Cherokee DPF Cleaning Completed in W10 4ES

Initial testing showed a DPF pressure reading of 38 mbar. This indicated increased restriction within the filter and confirmed that cleaning was required to improve exhaust flow and support normal diesel engine performance.

Service: DPF Cleaning
Date: 01-Oct-2026
Make: JEEP
Model: Cherokee
Area: W10 4ES
Challenge:
The DPF had accumulated enough soot and deposits to create elevated back pressure. If left untreated, this could contribute to poor performance, reduced fuel efficiency, warning lights and additional strain on the engine and exhaust system.
Solution:
Our technicians carried out a targeted DPF cleaning procedure on site. Following the service, the pressure reading reduced from 38 mbar to 8 mbar, showing a significant improvement in exhaust flow through the filter. Final checks confirmed that the DPF was operating far more freely after cleaning.
